Darmajaya International Scholarship (DIS)

Darmajaya International Scholarship is a program for all students around the world to study in Institute of Informatics and Business (IIB) Darmajaya both bachelor degree and postgraduate. The scholarship is divided into two such as full scholarship and partial scholarship. Participants who register the program will go through several stages of rigorous selection that is conducted by the committee board. It is a form of commitment of IIB Darmajaya as a partner from higher education ministry Republic Indonesia to innovate in increasing education quality in Indonesia.

Purposes

Institute of Informatics and Business (IIB) Darmajaya is able to enhance the quality standard of human resource through the International program

Thanks to the big opportunity offered by IIB DARMAJAYA, I am currently studying abroad.

The blue campus has opened doors for me to a myriad of opportunities, starting with college, which made me more independent. Meeting people from different countries and learning about their cultures has helped me enjoy this beautiful adventure :)
and the most helpful part is learning how to control and manage my own life especially my study while living far from family and friends.

I integrated myself into a new environment where I make a lot of friends and create good communication skills with people around the world that will highlight my future career. ''I am sure and certain that soon I will reach my goal.''

Studying abroad was always my dream when I was a child. My dream came to be when I got a scholarship to do a masters degree at IIB Darmajaya Indonesia. IIB Darmajaya is ranked as the best private university in southern Sumatra and has students from all over the world . IIB Darmajaya is a place of unlimited opportunities for those with the zeal, ambition and drive to conquer the world. As a student I was challenged to be bold and explore my talents and have a technopreneur thinking mindset.

While studying there I received unwavering support from the teaching and non teaching staff on learning, social and welfare services. The university has a team of highly trained lectures and it's equipped with high tech and advanced facilities to support learning. IID Darmajaya not only focuses on teaching but also helps international students immerse themselves in Indonesian culture. During my study I was able to learn basic Indonesian language, lampung dance as well as learning how to cook traditional foods like sambal.

I enjoyed trying traditional foods like nasi goreng ( my favorite), gorengang, ikan bakar among others. The most fascinating think I did was to try luwak coffee which I really despite the fact that it's processed from animal waste.! I also got the opportunity to travel across Indonesia and enjoyed the beautiful scenery especially the beaches and mountains. Choosing IIB Darmajaya was the best decision I have ever made because i got the opportunity to rediscover myself and explore abilities to the best.

I would wish to humbly request international students who read this message to give it a try. Come to Darmajaya and let us help you discover your talents and abilities. As for me Darmajaya is and will always be my home away from home.

Time flies, when I remember back in 2019 when I was enrolled as a freshman at the iib Darmajaya and due to different languages being spoken and having no friends at a time the situation seemed messed and tuff; little did I know that the good times are to unfold before me in a shortest time I couldn’t imagine.

Learning the language became easier than many had portrayed, people became friendly from students to lectures and the community in and around the campus which made e feel home away from home; the whelming and unconditional support from the lectures and other teaching and non-teaching staff made me feel like a I got a golden crown.

Since my day one to-date lots have happened with some being challenging but due to being surrounded by the right people they helped me walk through the turf-times.so appreciative to the support by the Darmajaya University, International Office, teaching and non-teaching staff and all the people who have been part of my Education journey from day one till to-date.

Assalamualaikum, my name is Suhailah Sideh, an MM 2021 alumni. I am beyond happy and proud to receive the opportunity from the chancellor who gave me a scholarship to be able to continue my Masters at Darmajaya. I am very glad to graduate from Darmajaya, my capability has been recognized everywhere, I am now on duty at the Indonesian Embassy that is located in Bangkok, Thailand. Thank you for the chancellor, the lecturers and all my friends who left a memorable experience during my studies at Darmajaya. Darmajaya the best!
